LAVERDA, the 2007 innovations
Laverda will be exhibiting at SIMA - Paris Nord Villepinte from 4 to 8 March 2007, Hall 6 - Booth J24 ARGO with some of the new combine models launched for the 2006 – 2007 sales campaign.
A new model adds to the REV Series.
In answer to pressing demands for combines in the “economy” category from markets such as Turkey, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan and Romania, Laverda is now proposing REV 200, an addition to the REV, 256 REV, 255 REV and 225 REV series medium-bracket models, which possess superior characteristics to those of their direct competitors.
This new machine features tip-top qualities when it comes to reliability and performance as its chassis, transmissions and threshing components are identical to those of its big brothers. But thanks to certain differences such as mechanical meshing mechanisms for the threshing apparatus, the 5,200 litre grain tank and the 133 kW NEF Tier III engine, it suits the requirements of buyers looking for a more economical price.
Characteristics of this type also meet the needs recently voiced by more mature markets such as France, Germany, Poland, Spain and Finland where small, family-run enterprises are developing part-time farming activities along with other sorts of work, activities that require more modern and better organized techniques plus high productivity and quick harvesting methods.
Besides featuring the new belt transmission for controlling the cutting table, these 256 REV, 255 REV and 225 REV combines also sport new colours: grey for both the tyre rims and grain tank cover. Operators in 2007 will work in even more comfortable surroundings as the Elegance cab has a re-vamped interior and platform to get the most out of the available space and make it much more functional and ergonomic.
