Laverda will be on show at Agritechnica – Hanover, from 11 to 17 November 2007, Hall 6 - Booth E03A

Breganze, 18.07.2007. Laverda will be exhibiting two combines at the Agritechnica trade fair, in Hanover:
M 306 Special Power Levelling System 4WD with a 7.60 m cutting table, and 296 LCS with a 6.60 m cutting table.

M 306 Special Power Levelling System 4 WD
One of Laverda’s top products and designed to provide an excellent performance even on sloping ground, M 306 SP LS 4WD stands out for its productivity, stability and safety features.
The machine can be levelled up to as much as 20% in the lateral direction and 8% longitudinally, with its cutting table aligned with the ground.
The levelling system is controlled by two extremely precise electronic pendulums and the level is corrected by two large telescopic cylinders with built-in safety devices.
As part of the standard supply, M 306 SP LS 4WD also features Option-Four, an electronic device with which lateral and longitudinal levelling can be controlled independently. Thanks to this system, the operator can automatically control levelling in the lateral direction only while comfortably seated in the cab, and without moving the body of the machine longitudinally when this is not required.
Extremely useful on particularly difficult slopes and very heavy soils, the 4WD system provides reliable, fade-free lugging power.

The exclusive “Laverda Special Power” system is part of the standard supply:
GSAX, Ground Self Alignment Extra. This feature maintains an even cutting height while the combine works and in even the most difficult harvesting conditions. Electronic control makes the system more sensitive and reactive, allowing the cutting table to adapt to the ground in the lateral and longitudinal directions in a fully automatic way while maintaining both the cutting height and the pressure exercised by the cutting table on the ground at constant levels. There are two automatic cutting ranges: 50 to 180 mm for short-stemmed crops or 100 to 500 mm for taller crops. Thanks to the large, Easy Reverse bearing skids installed under the bar, the machine can be manoeuvred in an extremely easy and accurate way, even in reverse. A standardized electric connector makes the controls even more reliable and the cutting table easier to hitch to the machine.

PFR, Prepare and Feeding Roller. Equipped with larger fingers, that convey the crop to the elevator chute in an even more fluid and efficient way, this system ensures a regular threshing action, lower power requirement, lower fuel consumption and longer lasting transmissions.

MCS Plus, Multi Crop Separator Plus. This device subjects the crop to forced separation so as to divide the grain from the straw before this latter reaches the straw-walkers. It can be simply deactivated by means of an electric switch if the crop is delicate, with easily broken straw.
Integration of the REV module increases the separation area by 20%, and consequently widens the winding angle to 120°. All this, along with use of the straw-walkers to their full length, achieves an increasingly higher performance from the machine.
The drum in Laverda's combines is equipped with eight beating bars and eight ballast bars. This guarantees that the crop is separated in an excellent way without impairing the quality of either the straw or grain.
The electrical system that independently regulates the front and rear parts of the concave allows the combine to be quickly and accurately adapted to the different types of crop in every condition.

M 306 Special Power Levelling System 4WD has a 246/335 kW/HP CITIUS 8.4 CTA 4V, SISU Diesel Tier III green engine with the Common Rail fuel supply system, 4WD hydrostatic transmission and 600 litre capacity tank: all features that guarantee lower fuel consumption, running economy and long life.
The newly designed electronic Power Boost system controls the engine power in an intelligent way so as to ensure extra power when the going gets tough.

Built to be as comfortable and attractive as possible, M 306 SP LS 4WD features the well-soundproofed Commodore Cab with automatic air conditioner and a pleasant colour scheme for the interior. Agritronic Plus, the combine’s computer, controls and monitors the machine. A pneumatically sprung seat, ergonomic controls with a joystick built into the armrest, the relaxation kit and the portable fridge are some of the other features that contribute towards the operator’s well-being in the M 306 Special Power Levelling System 4WD combine.

296 LCS, Laverda Crop System
Laverda’s 296 LCS combine comes under the medium-high bracket of the market. It’s distinctive features are productivity, the quality of the processed crop and rationalized running costs. Low fuel consumption and simplified maintenance work, the strong, high quality materials used and the delicacy with which the crop is treated in all the harvesting and threshing phases make this machine the ideal choice for farmers and farm-contractors who insist on quality but want to be competitive.

Featuring GSAX, PFR and MCS Plus as part of the standard equipment, 256 LCS has an 8,800 litre capacity grain tank. Thanks to its new electrically controlled extensions, the tank can discharge 85 litres per second and achieves a remarkable daily production output, also thanks to the discharge tube which can be trained horizontally and makes all types of trailer much quicker to fill.
296 LCS combines are equipped with 202/275 kW/HP Tier III Citius 7.4 CTA 4V SISU Diesel green engines featuring the Common Rail fuel supply system. The fuel tank capacity is 450 litres.

The generously sized side doors make servicing work very simple, and consequently speed up the time maintenance takes since the transmissions, internal components of the machine and rotating filter with quick release mechanism can be easily accessed, allowing the radiators and other components, such as the air conditioning system, to be reached without difficulty.

When it comes to comfortable surroundings, 296 LCS has lots to offer thanks to the exclusive PROFI Cab, designed to provide the operator with the best of rational controls and ergonomics. The strongly built steps and large door make it easy to climb in and out of the cab, while the total control and monitoring functions are ensured by the combine's Agritronic computer and exclusive joystick. Generously sized windows provide all-round visibility.
Besides the automatic conditioner, the Profi Cab also features the comfortable seat with pneumatic suspensions as part of the standard equipment. But that’s not all, the cab can also be fitted with the portable fridge, radio system and CD-player, TV camera with colour display and GPS satellite system.
An imposing array of lights allows the operator to work at night with excellent visibility for as long as the harvesting conditions allow.
