The new M Series Advanced Levelling Concept stands out from the pack thanks to its exclusive new levelling system, patented by Laverda, that works with lateral rather than longitudinal action, an entirely new high performance concept.
The innovative series comprises three models, the M 410 LC Advanced, the M 400 LC Advanced, and the M 400 LCI Advanced (integral), all equipped with the technical solutions of the renowned Laverda system: the Free Flow cutting header, the GSAX system that automatically adjusts the cutting header to the terrain, the large elevator channel to ensure excellent efficiency and wide visibility on the bar, the PFR system that provides an even and continuous product flow, the MCS Plus for gentle and effective threshing and separation, the sturdy drives and a hydraulic system that enables the maximum efficiency without energy dispersion, and the new stone trap with large capacity and wide opening for quick and easy access to the grain pan and the threshing apparatus, guaranteeing reduced servicing time.
In addition to these important specifications, the M Series Advanced LC introduces three innovative features:
- an exclusive levelling system with lateral action rather than longitudinal action

- reduced external dimensions, ideal for road circulation

- new electronic functionality

The lateral levelling system is based on two sturdy joints that, by means of the electro-hydraulic control, provide for the automatic lateral adjustment of the machine to the different slopes of the terrain. This enables transversal levelling of the machine up to 20% and makes it possible to work on slopes in optimum conditions, assuring high performance in total comfort and with the maximum safety.
In addition to the excellent stability with minimal soil compaction thanks to the large tyres, the new lateral levelling system reduces the external dimensions to just 3.50 m (or even to 3.30 m depending on the front tyres used), which allows road circulation even in narrow carriageways.
The onboard intelligence is the third important innovation that characterises this new series from Laverda, thanks to the adoption of the new Advanced electronic control system via Managing Console GTA II. Equipped with a large touch-screen monitor, the system not only manages the exclusive levelling system but is also preset to host future systems of control, measurement, and diagnosis of the machine in the field, according to the ISO-Bus protocol, with the possibility to store data on SD memory card: control of tailing, recording of the sieves from the cab, telemetry and mapping of the terrain.
For particularly difficult terrains and the most adverse conditions, the ideal solution is provided by the model M 400 LCI Advanced (integral). In addition to the lateral levelling action, the four drive wheels of this combine, combined with rear lifting, guarantee optimal control of the combine.
The M 400 LCI Advanced (integral) model was presented in world premiere at Innov’Agri in September and received the Innov’Agri Award in the category “Matériels Motorisés” for its particularly interesting and innovative technical features. The panel of judges, composed of experts in the field, had the opportunity to view the field trial and underscored that Laverda’s many years of research and extensive experience with machines for hillside and mountain work led to the creation of a product, the M LCI Advanced Integral, and a series, M LC Advanced, that inspire the utmost confidence.
